JUNIOR SECTION STUDENTS PERFORM SPIRITEDLY IN INTERHOUSE EVENTS
“GROOMING THE MOST VALUABLE HUMAN RESOURCE OF THE COUNTRY”
Co-curricular activities facilitate in the development of various domains of mind and personality such as intellectual, emotional, social, moral and aesthetic development. As a part of co-curricular activities, various competitions were held for the children of Grade I to V.
* Keeping alive the art of calligraphy, handwriting competition was held for the students of Grade I. The aim is to improve the handwriting skills of the budding group.
* Meaningful copy writing was conducted for students of Grade II where a video clipping was shown to the students and they had to identify the details related to the picture and construct meaningful writing.
* Grade III- V The students of Gr. III to V came out with amazing poems. The student poets selected poems on different topics which were very interesting. The pronunciation, intonation, fluency, presentation, gesture and confidence of the participants were judged.
* Grade VI – VIII elected their class monitors through a democratic procedure and the campaigning of the council members was also carried for the forthcoming elections of School Council Members.
The principal and judges appreciated the efforts put in by the teacher members and students that culminated in meaningful show.
