Assemblies can be a comprehensive way to provide inputs, create awareness, communicate changes in rules and policies etc.
The assembly activities are structured thematic. Themes are dealt with through speeches, skits, songs, pledging slogans together etc.
Today std X students presented a spirited skit on the topic ‘ SAVE NATURE’. The skit was based on Chipko movement, a non-violent movement, that inspired many eco-groups to slow down the rapid deforestation , increase ecological awareness, and demonstrate the viability of people power.
After the spirited performance, students took out a rally with banners , saying slogans. Sure as future citizens they understood their responsibility towards their home – planet EARTH.
THE EARTH DOES NOT BELONG TO US. WE BELONG TO THE EARTH.
