SHIV ASHISH SCHOOL (GSEB) grade 1 to 8 , celebrated its Annual Day on the theme UTSAV – Celebration of life, on 9th January 2016 in the school premises. It was presided by the School Managing Trustee Ms. Rekha Desai and the SAS lead team of both gseb & cbse.
The function started with the lighting up of the lamp and the welcome address by the Head Mistress Ms. Vidhya Goundar. The evening was made more colourful with cultural programs including the School Song and School Video. The cultural program began with Fashion Fiesta by the tiny tots of SAS. Every class gave their performances with grace and got a big round of applause which included folk & regional dances of different states of India. The highlight of the program was Bihu dance, Celebrating Women hood, Marshal art with bamboos and of course Gujarat’s special Garba.
Students of Std. I to VIII participated in the function.100% students participated in the event.
The event turned out to be a great success.
