Students of Std IX & X , Visit I.S.R.O.

20^th , 21^st , 25^th  July’12

 

Students of grade IX & X , were taken to Indian Space Research Organization.

• The students were briefed  about the developmental stages of ISRO and efforts put by various scientists to build the organization.  The students were made aware of  the various branches of ISRO and how the work is carried out by each branch.
•  Students got the opportunity to see a movie on launching a Chandrayan. Models of various satellites and camera used to take the photograph of the earth were  prime attraction for the students.

 

Visit to ISRO  certainly  inspired the students to think of becoming  space scientists.
